Rebecca A. Auld
Firm Principal, Auld Brothers Law Group
Rebecca A. Auld’s practice consists of; Wills, Financial and Healthcare Will Power-of-Attorneys, Estate Administration, Elder Law, Real Estate matters, Small Businesses, and Criminal Law.
Rebecca is a 2000 graduate of Denison University in Ohio. From 2000-2003 at the Duquesne University’s School-of-Law and during her college years, Rebecca interned and worked for the Office of the Attorney General for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, under Mike Fisher. Then she interned for the United States Attorney’s Office of the Prosecutor for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Upon graduating from Duquesne, Rebecca clerked for the late Honorable George H. Hancher, from 2003 to 2006, writing Opinions in the Court of Common Pleas of Butler County, of Pennsylvania. During that time, she came to respect the decorum one should have as a Judge and an attorney. A lesson she also learned from her father, John H. Auld, II, Esq., as a principal of the law firm, Abernethy Auld & Young (who has since retired in 2020) and who has guided her throughout her career.
She went on to be an assistant district attorney of Allegheny County for nearly seven years, with the last five years in the Domestic Violence Unit. It helped her tremendously to hone her trial skills and ultimately prosecuting various major assaults, firearm violations and homicides. More importantly, she was able to communicate and work with various judges, victims, police officers, attorneys and staff gaining a broader perspective, while trying to achieve a just result. Those lasting relationships and experiences continue to help her in the private sector.
Rebecca is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and the United States District of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Her prior experiences bring the same mentality and mindset as counsel while focusing on the above. She competently and passionately assists generations of families in those areas.
Rebecca is a lifelong resident of Adams Township in Butler County. She resides there with her husband and their three children, who may become attorneys themselves. When she finds time to spare, Rebecca likes traveling, reading, and cooking for her family and friends.
